Below, we’ve provided answers to some of the questions that patients ask us. And don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have other concerns.
How often should I visit the dentist?
At minimum, you should have two dental checkups and cleanings per year. We want to catch and treat problems as early as possible so that you don’t have to experience pain or damage to your smile. We also remove hardened plaque that you may have missed in your daily brushing and flossing, preventing problems from causing trouble in the future.
Should I have traditional metal braces or Invisalign?
It depends on your needs and your preferences. Traditional braces are a great option for younger patients and those who have more severe misalignment. Invisalign is a more subtle treatment alternative for adults who have mild or moderate alignment issues. These clear aligners allow the patient to easily brush and floss as usual, and they don’t come with diet restrictions. During your consultation, we can discuss your options and find the perfect solution for your smile.
Are root canals painful?
Not with our skilled, compassionate team. Often, patients are suffering before coming into our dental office. In many of these cases, a root canal is needed in order to save the tooth. Before beginning the procedure, we administer a local anesthetic to take away any pain and can even use sedation to reduce anxiety and help the patient feel absolutely at ease.
Do you treat children?
Absolutely! We welcome patients of all ages ranging from young children all the way through aging seniors, and we cater our services to meet each patient’s needs. Our team will take the time to make sure that patients feel relaxed and comfortable and have a positive experience overall.
Why should I consider dental implants for replacing my missing teeth?
When it comes to tooth replacements, dental implants offer many valuable benefits that bridges or dentures can’t on their own. Not only can dental implants last for decades longer and save you money in the long run, but they also help support your remaining teeth, preventing tooth loss in the future. Also, dental implants can be used to replace any number of teeth, so anyone with missing teeth can take advantage of this transformative treatment in one convenient location.
How can I save money on oral healthcare?
To reduce your oral healthcare costs, it’s important to take good care of your smile. That means daily brushing and flossing and coming to our dental office for checkups and cleanings every six months. These simple habits can keep problems from becoming severe and expensive.
We also believe that everyone should be able to afford the dental care they need, which is why we offer so many budget-friendly financial options. We accept many dental insurance plans and even have our own loyalty savings plan for those who don’t have insurance. In addition, our team has special deals on some of our services. If you would like to learn more about how our team can help you save money, just give us a call.
